    Planting and Harvesting

With the kitchen remodel behind us, we have been taking things a little slower and really enjoying the farm. The weather is so beautiful. The arrival of fall has brought cool, crisp mornings with warm afternoons. On rare days when the kids sleep in, I slip out on our front porch to watch the sun rise with my coffee. This is a beautiful season of life, in so many ways. I love spending the mornings in my garden. For the most part, I do all of the garden work myself and prefer it that way. Farmhouse Renovations: Kitchen, Dining, and Fireplace

We’ve completed our farmhouse kitchen/dining room remodel and we are so thrilled with the results! I should have taken more “before” pictures, but all I have are a few I snapped during our final inspection pre-purchase. The previous owners had already done some great things. Around the Farm

I know I said that I would hopefully have renovation updates this time, but I don’t! We’ve actually made a lot of progress in that area, but we don’t have a single room finished yet! It is crazy, we have worked so hard every day but are so behind schedule. Apparently our schedule was unrealistic, considering we have two young children, ha. The movers delivered our furniture and house hold goods which is amazing, but we are still wading through boxes on top of renovations and regular life! It is exhausting, but in a good way. We are both sore, tired, and happy. Thankfully, we have our bed now and are…

    Updates

Here is a little update on our farm progress, with pictures! Our furniture and boxes haven’t arrived yet, and we still don’t even have a date from the movers on when they will be here! We are already way behind on our renovation and project list. Brandon has had to go into work almost every single day, which has really slowed us down. Our move coincided with a big training/meeting time at his job. Today is the 11th day in a row that he has had to go in. Even so, we’ve managed to get a few things done around here! We are working on a very special project in the living room. I…
