    July Updates | The Garden in Bloom

    This is what my garden looks like these days. It is a beautiful mess. When I originally planned my garden, I envisioned immaculate beds that I would, of course, keep weed free. I envisioned well tended pathways, an organized layout, and everything in its rightful place. I envisioned growing enough produce to feed us all summer long (HA!). Much like my life, my garden turned out completely different than I imagined! My beds are overflowing, my plants refuse to stay where I want them, and weeds grow everywhere.     My Father’s World ECC Week 3: United States

    We just wrapped up week 3 of ECC, our first week in North America, exploring the U.S.! I was initially dreading this unit since we just completed a full year of America with Adventures. But we have actually really enjoyed this week in ECC! We spread week 3 out over two weeks, since it coincided with the 4th of July and basketball camp. Again, the flexibility of homeschooling and year round school is awesome! It is so nice to be making continual progress on our curriculum and already be so “ahead of the game” this year, while still taking time to enjoy our summer and participate in activities. I began…
